Senior
The Warriors matched the Gladiators in the second half, but could not over come the 34-18 first half deficit. With the win the Gladiators stayed undefeated and improved their record to 7-0. They were led by Copeland who scored 16 points, Lauria who had 13 and Horton who had 12. The Warriors fought until the end. They were led once again by Phillips and Horning with 16 and 15 points. Horning played an overall great game, with many assists and great defense. His efforts earned him Senior Division Player of the Week!
In their second match up of the season, the Honey Badgers beat the Bulls in a close game. After losing to the Bulls a few weeks ago, the Honey Badgers came out strong in the second half to secure the win. A. Kincaid led the Honey Badgers with a game-high 23 points and Berent added 14. The Bulls played well as a team with Deprevasad and Barsottelli leading the way with 10 points each.
In their second match up of the season, the 76ers came out strong in the second half to beat the Warriors. It was a great team win. Mazur led the way with 20 points and T.Bauer added 16. The Warriors were only down by 2 points at half time, but could not over the deficit. They were led by Phillips who had a game-high 27 points. He is currently the Senior Division leading scorer. Horning put up 17 points with an over-all great performance.
The Bulls/Warrior game was the highest scoring game of the season! Hayden Wolf scored almost a quarter of his team’s points – 23. He also had a number of assists and played great defense, earning him Player of the Week! Fitzgerald had an impressive 20 points for the Bulls while Kukoleca had 17 and Rowe had 16. It was a great team win! The Warriors fought hard, until the last minute. Phillips continued to dominate with 25 points for the Warriors. He is currently the Senior Division leading scorer.
